She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Jackson and Jean Jackson. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristen Wakani (Neil) of St. Catharines and Sara Butler of Chatham; her close friend Smudge; her brother Jim Jackson (Sarah) of Chatham; and her sibling's children, Kenneth and Shannon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and aunt.

Donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation or Alzheimer Society can be made in Kay's name if desired.
