She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Charlton; her parents, William Mifflin and Annie Mifflin (Parker); her son William Albert "Abby" Charlton; and her siblings, June Wilson (Fred), Ivan Mifflin and Arlene Allen.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Denise Charlton (Normandin) of Chatham; her grandchildren, Dennis, Laurie Charlton of Kitchener, Cindy and Sam Zilio of Gravenhurst; her great grandchildren, Ewan, Isaac Charlton, Zachary and Emily Zilio; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine Mifflin, Lois Charlton, Mary Lynn Cox (Dunbar) and Richard Allen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
