He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret McIntyre (Connell) and Wesley McIntyre; and his siblings, Kathleen Orton, Jean McIntyre, Laura McIntyre, Eileen Almas, Fred McIntyre and Donald McIntyre.

He is survived by: his wife Mary McIntyre (Labute); his sons, Allan McIntyre (Sandra) and Bradley McIntyre; his sisters-in-law, Josephine Miller and Leona London (Russell); his grandchildren, Chris Kimmerly (Amanda), Jason McIntyre (Lynnise) and Shawn McIntyre (Shari); and his great grandchildren, Victoria, Malcolm, Sadie, Trinity and Alexander.
