He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wells and Clois Wells (Zumwalt); and his wife Phyllis Wells (Riddell). He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Moffatt (Cameron), Cheryl Kivell (Vaughn), Carol Wells (Wayne), David Wells (Pamela) and Jonathan "Jon" Wells (Kathy); and his siblings, Gerald Wells of Michigan, Terry Wells of Chatham and Nancy Unsworth of Louisiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
