With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Achiel Verlinde (Chatham, Ontario), who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Larry find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vicki Verlinde (Wiliamson); his children, Sara Symeonakis (Mark) and Shawn Verlinde; his grandchildren, Benjamin and Grace Symeonakis; his sister Janet Beamish (Dave); and his parents, Rene Verlinde and Mary Verlinde (Crow).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Owen Cemetery (26643 Owen Rd, Dover Centre, ON N0P1L0).
Donations in memory of Larry may be made to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue (PAWR).
