He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Kelly Ann McAvoy (Michael Hall) and John McAvoy (Diana); his grandchildren, Erica, Brian and Megan; and his siblings, Lawrence McAvoy (Jeanette), Marylin McAvoy (Ted Fulcher), Anne VanHoof (Andy) and Mary McAvoy (Andy Austin).
