He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Baughman and Olive Baughman (Watson); and his sister Linda Balasan. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Dube; his children, Laurie Breton, Sue Baughman, Jeffrey Baughman, Shelly Brown, Sarah Hoekstra and Tammy Tedley; and his siblings, Ella Johnson (late Raymond), Donna Xenophontos (late Andy) and Harold Baughman (Fran). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
