He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Horn and Rena Van Horn (Bryant); and his siblings, Glen, John, Beverly, Betty Lou and Delbert.

He is survived by: his spouse Judy; his children, Lonnie Van Horn (Deb) of London, Shannon Van Horn of Rodney, Shane Van Horn (Ange) of Bothwell, Justin Van Horn (Rachelle) of Chatham and Jeannine Hewings of Chatham; his grandchildren, Brody of Kieran, Jordan of Sophie, Autum of Damon, Ava and Carson; his great grandchild Jax; his sibling Shirley Haggard of Ft. Wayne; and his parents-in-law, Frank and Doreen Regier (Overholt) of Exeter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
