It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Bedford of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on May 4, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Bedford to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Reynolds and Aletha Reynolds; her daughter-in-law Carol Bedford; her brothers, Jack Reynolds (Sheila), Earl Reynolds (Betty), Carl Reynolds (Jennette) and Norris Reynolds; and her brother-in-law Bob Wass.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Bedford, Barbara Bedford, Ronald Bedford (Zelena (Zee)) and Chad Bedford (Jennifer (Jenn)); her grandsons, Carl Bedford, Jason Bedford, Tim Scribe and Mitchell Bedford (Meagan); her stepgrandson Austin Scott; her great grandchild Daniel Bedford; her sister Patricia Wass; and her sister-in-law Joyce Reynolds.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home (245 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1H7). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
