She was predeceased by: her parents, John Caldwell and Annie Caldwell; her son Richard Carson; her son-in-law Murray Ongena; her siblings, Stanley, Ray, Hugh, June and Betty; and her siblings-in-law, James and Mary.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Ongena of Chatham, John Carson (Carman) of Leamington and Brad Carson of London; her sibling Kingsley Caldwell (Linda) of Chatham; her sisters-in-law, Beulah Caldwell and Carol Carson; and her grandchildren, Mitchell, Madeleine, Richard, Randa, Peggy, John, Janet, Laura, Paul, Annie Beth and Jeffrey.
