He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew Welsh (Noreen) and Darlene Smyth (Roy); his children, Jordyn Welsh of Chatham and Jessica Welsh (Shaun Vosbourgh) of Glencoe; his grandchild Bowser; his parents-in-law, Barry and Brenda Hogg of Blenheim; his siblings, Cheryl Smyth (Wayne Green) of Shrewsbury, Tammy Welsh (Roger Patterson) of Blenheim, Terry Gardiner (Mike) of Blenheim and Marty Simpson (Kristen) of Point Edward; and his nieces and nephews, Charles Stover and Cassandra Pennings (Justin).

Donations in memory of Lonny may be made to the Bluewater Centre For Raptor Rehabilitation or the London Health Sciences Foundation - Oncology.
