It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Claire Gaynes of Chatham, Ontario, born in Saint-Thomas, Ontario, who passed away on January 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Archer and Mary Archer (Stilwell); her grandchildren, Ricky MacDonald and Laura MacDonald; and her siblings, Leonard, Audrey Brown (Bob), Dorothy Smith (Lorne) and Mary Rowena.
She is survived by : her husband John "Jack" Gaynes; her children, Deborah Chandler (Brian), Currie Gillespie (Cathy), Blair Gaynes and John Gaynes; her adoptive son Mark Adkinson (Jana); her grandchildren, Michael MacDonald (Erin), Stephen MacDonald (Jihyun), Andrew Gillespie, BryAnna Gillespie, Gabrielle Gillespie, Katya, Nicholas and Lexi Adkinson; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Emma MacDonald and Damian MacDonald; her sister Vivian Hetherington (Kent); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Archer (Leonard).
