With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Janssens of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on January 2, 2021. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dirk VanderMeulen and Trijntje VanderMeulen; her son Ronnie; her brother Donald VanderMeulen; and her brother-in-law John Janssens.

She is survived by : her husband Jake; and her children, Ken (Sue) of Chatham, Jeff (Michelle) of Calgary, John (Linda) of Barrie and Sharon McNamara (Patrick) of Chatham. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, many cousins, and by her friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all attendees as mandated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario must wear a mask at the funeral.

I remember Margaret as a happy and energetic lady. I have no doubt she will be missed by many at Grace Church and the community of Chatham-Kent.
