She was predeceased by: her parent John Hereygers; her spouse Clayton Roes; her children, Harry Deryck (Sharron), Bob Deryck and Peter Deryck; and her sister Anne Schopf.

She is survived by: her parent Anna Hereygers (Mathysen); her children, John Deryck (Tina), Fred Deryck (Deb), Patricia Maddocks (Dave) and Mary Jane Camara; her stepchildren, Brian Roes (Sally) and Bruce Roes; her siblings, Jean Brunschot (Fred) and Alphonse Hereygers; her brother-in-law Mike Schopf; and her friends, Congregational Church, Park Ave and Chatham.
