She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bateman and Phyllis Bateman; her husband Rolland Simmons (Rolly); and her siblings, Robert (Georgina Bateman), Wally (Madeline Bateman), Edward (Janet Bateman) and Phyllis (Donald Jones).

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Bill, Laurie Bateman, John, Sheila Bateman, Carla Jo, Dave McLaren, Jeff Jones, Lynn Timson, Pat, Ross McMillan, Jo-Anne, Brian Ahrens, Susan and Paul Aquilina; and her stepchildren, Rick, Nancy Ross, Marlene Simmons and Paul Jennings.
