She was predeceased by: her parent Jack Evans; and her child Brian VandeSompel. She is survived by: her parent Elsie Evans (Gordon); her spouse Arceen "Junior" VandeSompel; her children, David VandeSompel (Heather) of Chatham, Denice Leitenberger (Dan) of Chatham and Michael VandeSompel (Stacey) of Toronto; her grandchildren, Tara Wellman, Kyle Leitenberger (Heather), Adam Leitenberger (Rebecca), Madison VandeSompel, Ethan VandeSompel and Nicholas VandeSompel; and her siblings, Gary Evans (Kathy) of Chatham and Darlene. She is also survived by many friends, extended family.
