She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edna Hamilton (Hammond) and James Hamilton; her spouse Darcy James Want; her children, David of Sudbury, Jeremy (Christine) of Ottawa, Trilby Wagner (Edward) of San Diego and Darcy II (Sumin) of Toronto; and her grandchildren, Caelyn, Avery, Cameron, Darcy III and Eden.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home (156 William St S, Chatham, ON N7M4S8). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Craford Cemetery (19368 Craford Rd #19260, Cedar Springs, ON N0P1A0).

Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.
