She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Hannon (Doody) and Michael Hannon; her husband Arthur Leyte; her son David; her brother Cyril Hannon; and her brother-in-law Alex Karapita.
She is survived by: her stepmother Margaret Browne; her children, Chris Leyte (Becky), Bob Leyte (Kathy), Margaret McKenzie (Scott), Stephen Leyte (Michelle), Jim Leyte (Janice), Joanne Leyte and Greg Leyte (Johanne); her sister Gertrude Karapita; and her sister-in-law Meryl Hannon. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ursula's Church (205 Tweedsmuir Ave W, Chatham, ON N7M5N8). An entombment was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
