Mary Shwery Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Shwery of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on January 17, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Hector Beaudoin; her sons, Kenneth Douglas (Ken) and Cavell Shwery Jr.; her mother Adelaide Beaudoin (Rousseau); her parents-in-law, Leo Saba and Christena Shwery (Nicholson); and her brothers-in-law, Ted, Donald and Richard (Dick).

She is survived by: her spouse Cavell Shwery (Cal); her children, Rebecca Shwery (Becky), Patricia (Patti), Macomb Illinois, Deborah (Debbie), David McAllister, Michelle Shwery, Jeen Jager and Indiana; her grandchildren, Alexander Cavell Shwery Jager, Nicholas Ethan Shwery Jager of Indianapolis, Patricia Christena McAllister and Samantha Mary McAllister of Windsor; her siblings, Anna Quick (Willard), Stella, Bernadette Sarenchuk (Kim), Madeline Morency (Pete), Harvey (Lillian Bergeron), Lawrence 'Cisco' and Joseph (Joe); her sisters-in-law, Eva Shwery (Rahey), Virginia Shwery (Geavreau), Sophie Shwery (Azlen) and Zenith Beaudoin; and her goddaughter Vicki Beaudoin Erlandson (Jon). She is also survived by cousins, nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Alice to The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
