She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Samis and Bruce Samis. She is survived by: her children, Gerard (Bernadette), Mary-Anne (Paul), Suzanne (Stephen) and Joanne (Michael); her grandchildren, River Alma Sternik, Michael, Ryan Dang, Sarah (Thomas), David, James, Christopher, Joseph Lozinski, Katey (Conner), Thomas, Mary, Theresa and Bridget Bondy; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Alma, William Greenway and Maria Alma Zucchi.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (145 Victoria Ave, Chatham, ON N7L3A7). A burial will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T3M1).
In lieu of flowers, Masses may be offered for the repose of her soul.
