She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Wellington (Fields) and Richard Wellington; and her siblings, Lillian, Cathy, Mildred, Donald, Edward, Roy and Richard.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Wellington and Rachel Wellington; her grandchildren, Christopher, Kara-Lynne, Kenneth, Brandon, Kyla, Kasendra, Taliyah, Ronan, Franklin and Ariya; her great grandchild Athena Allen; her siblings, Clara Walker and William Wellington; and her sister-in-law Glenna Wellington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
