Maureen Frances Pepper Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2026, at the age of 79, Maureen Frances Pepper (Chatham, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Maureen's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Veronica Joyce and Reginald Joyce; and her brother Patrick Joyce of Chatham, Ontario.. She is survived by: her husband Ivan Pepper; her daughters, Nicole Leger (Luc) of Chatham and Jessica Lee (Jeff) of Ottawa; her granddaughter Cara; her sisters, Paula Wild (Bill) of London and Jill Forgrave of Victoria; and her cousin MaryAnne Bell.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McKinlay Reception Centre (463 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6).
