She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Strik and Josephine Strik; her husband Ron Kaspar; and her sister Mary Kestelyn (late George). She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Mallett (John), Lorrie Kaspar (Scott Lozon) and Brian Kaspar (Crystal Bolohan); her grandchildren, Aiden and Emalyn; and her siblings, Joe (Gloria), Michael (Kathy), Frank, John (Patti) and Annie Stone (late Harold).

Donations made in memory of Nelly to The Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
