In the vast expanse of eternity, Nicholas John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nicholas John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Janice Burns and Tom Burns; his wife Trish Bond; his brother Greg Chandler Burns (Eliot); his sister-in-law Susan Bond; and his children, Tess, Ada and Mazi. He was also cherished by many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's United Church (85 William St S, Chatham, ON N7M1H8).
