He was predeceased by: his parents, Zoe Delanghe Emery and Harvey Emery; his brother Oscar; his granddaughter Danielle Mathia; and his parents-in-law, Olive Denomy Waddick and Maurice Waddick.
He is survived by: his close friend Marianne Emery (Waddick); his children, John Emery, Diane Mathia (Philip), Lisa Todino (Americo) and Mark Emery; his grandchildren, Jacqueline (Jeffrey Hull), Brayden Mathia, Gabriela, Michael, Olivia, Zachary Todino, Matthew, Jacob and Joshua Emery; his great grandchild Charlotte Danielle Hull; his aunt Laura Ruysseveldt; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Cuccia (Louis) and Brian Waddick (Linda).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Chatham-Kent Hospice or PAWR would be appreciated by the family.
