She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gates and Mary Gates; her children, Robin Cowan and Kevin Cowan; her siblings, Doris, Edith, Evelyn, Frank and Gloria; and her in-laws, Dorothy, Margaret, Glen, Roy, Clifford, Eleanor, Don, Howard and Miles.
She is survived by: her husband John Cowan (Jack); her children, Claudia Kearns (John) and John Cowan (Sharlene); and her grandchildren, Jason Kearns (Lisa), Shaun Kearns (Carolyn), Tara Cowan, Melanie Poulin (Joe), Adam Cowan (Rachel) and Nicholas Cowan (Anne Marie).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Patricia to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
