He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Chepeka and Bessie Chepeka; his wife Rose Chepeka; and his pet Mable. He is survived by: his close friend Patti Day; his sons, Paul and Mike Chepeka; his stepdaughter Shyanne Drewery-Dick (Shane); and his siblings, Dale Detzler (Dennis), Dianne Pearson (David) and Larry Chepeka. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you to consider donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
