He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Schmoldt and Ellen Schmoldt. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kristin Schmoldt and Ric Schmoldt (Alicia); his grandchildren, Jessy (Vil), Brianna (James), Riley, Alex, Connor and Lilly; his siblings, Henry (Dorthe) and Karen of Denmark; and his nephews, Henrik and Christian.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McKinlay Reception Centre (463 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6).
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Paul to the Chatham-Kent Community Living or Alzheimer Society Of Chatham-Kent would be appreciated by the family.
