He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kristin Schmoldt and Ric Schmoldt (Alicia); his grandchildren, Jessy (Vil), Brianna (James), Riley, Alex, Connor and Lilly; his siblings, Henry (Dorthe) and Karen of Denmark; and his nephews, Henrik and Christian.
