She was predeceased by: her parents, Camille DeFreyne and Mary Louise DeFreyne; her husband Jerome; her grandson Martin; and her sister Leona Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, David Vannieuwenhuyze, Eileen Gawne (Paul) and Michael Vannieuwenhuyze (Karen); her grandchildren, Darrell, Vicki, Kerry (Roland), Krissy, Rob (Martha), Brad (Nicole) and Tara (Steve); her great grandchildren, Baylie, Owen, Shawn, Trinity, Olivia, Hailey and Lydia; and her close friend Joan Martin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
