She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Brownell; her parents, Eustace Mattinson and Hazel Mattinson; her brother Douglas; her brother-in-law Donald Groves; and her niece Janet Groves.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce (Barb) and Marnie (Larry Dutton); her grandchildren, Carolyn, Amy, David, Shawn, Ashley, Michael and Amber; her great grandchildren, Addison, Dylan, Maxime and Bennet; and her sisters, Dorothy Groves-Stewart (Dave), Marion Vito (Chris), Helen Boston (Albert), Elizabeth Hoyle (Bill) and Joy Mattinson-Muir (Bruce). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers donations to the CNIB or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada in Jean's memory would be appreciated.
