He was predeceased by: his parents, Philippe Blais and Anna Blais; his wife Rosita Blais; and his siblings, Angeline Marentette, Jeanette Howard, Thomas Blais, Raymond Blais and Romain Blais.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Blais, Gerard Blais, Nicole, Stewart Faas and Paul Blais; his grandchildren, Heather, Melanie, Catherine, Eric, David and Stephanie; and his siblings, Lucille Monforton and Louis Blais.
