It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pierre Joseph Martin of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on December 14, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Martin and Maria Martin; his siblings, Yvonne Tetrault, Romeo Martin, Delphine Martin, Paul Martin, Pauline Peirone, Alma Sherwood, Zulma McGregor, Phyllis Caron and Hector Martin; and his in-laws, Ilene Starks (Mike), Judith Winkler (Ara) and Jeanette Frugia.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Martin; his children, Pierre "Pete" Martin (Lori), Kimberly Miller (Glenn), Wayne Martin (Malene) and Thomas Martin (Marianne); his siblings, Priscilla Peruzzo and Homer Martin; his sister-in-law Lori Deacon (Todd); and his nephews, Simon Caron and Lee Deacon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Pierre to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
