She was predeceased by: her parents, Hendrick Sjollema and Anna Sjollema; her spouse Arie Luyt; her daughter Margaret; her great grandchild Layla; and her siblings, Tena (Paul), Nieke (Hans), Anneke (John), Andries (Janny) and Jouke.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Flikweert (George) of Chatham, Rick Luyt (Colleen) of Chatham and Betty Ann Ball (Scott) of Abbotsford; her grandchildren, Joshua Flikweert (Corina), Nicole VanderWeide (Shawn), Arien Flikweert (Jamie), Joanna Flikweert, Joel Luyt (Laura), Jeremy Luyt (Jade), Jordan Luyt (Kristen), Aaron Luyt (Kaiti), MacKenzie Hooper (Aaron), Mikaela Wolsey (Jordan), Andrea McAllister (Liam), Ben Ball, Rick Ball, Sadie Sawatzky (Kurtis) and Austin Ball; and her sister-in-law Hilly (Jim).
