He was predeceased by: his wife Mary McTaggart; his parents, Donald Lockrey and Aleathea Lockrey; and his in-laws, Alex, Gladys McTaggart, Murray McTaggart, Neil and Janet McTaggart.
He is survived by: his children, Brian of Erieau and Ruth Ann Vandewalle (Philip) of Strathroy; his grandchildren, Calum, Claire and Luke Vandewalle; his brother Ken Lockrey (Phyllis) of Petrolia; and his siblings-in-law, Helga McTaggart (late Clare) of Burlington, Howard McTaggart (late Noreen), Jean and Dr Manoo Gurjar of Vancouver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home (245 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1J9).
