With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Pomajba (Chatham, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Frank. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his mother Geraldine; his siblings, Paul (Fiona), Valerie (Marc) and Elaine; his siblings' children, Olivia (Kevin), Hilary, Sydney, Ruby and Griffin; his in-laws, Eileen and Chris Smith; and his sister-in-law Shannon Lumsden.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home (245 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1J9).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Eir Centre or the Firefighters' Association of Ontario would be appreciated by his family.
