He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger and Jean; and his brother-in-law Ed Kusalik. He is survived by: his wife Helen (Kusalik); his daughter Lisa (Pieta); his husband Robert of Chatham; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Valerie; his grandchildren, William Pieta, Abby Bruneel, Nicholas and Randall Winger; his brother Gerry; his sister-in-law Bonnie; his sister Judy Craievich; his brother-in-law Jake; his uncle Luce Cools (Deanna) of Chatham; his aunt Lillian Walker of Georgia, USA; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Kusalik (Mary Badura) of Lethbridge, AB and Mary Kusalik.

Roger and his family will be forever grateful for the compassionate care and wonderful support they received from Sharon Coleman and the ALS Society of Windsor-Essex County.Therefore, In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Roger to this amazing organization.
