He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Templeton and Ella Templeton; his siblings, James, Jack, Grace and Shirley; and his brother-in-law Douglas Anakin.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley (Anakin); his children, Randall (Helen) and Elizabeth Postma (Bill); his grandchildren, Tiffany (Ryan), Briana (Mike) and Katrina; his great grandchildren, Arlo, Douglas and Wiley; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Templeton and Mary Jean Anakin. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations in Russell's name to the Rotary Club of Chatham or the Anakin-Templeton Fund, Chatham-Kent Community Foundation would be appreciated.
