We are sad to announce that, on December 9, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Elizabeth Calyn of Chatham, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Erkila and Signe Erkila; her husband Michael Calyn; and her brother Allan Erkila. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Perry (Paul) of Chatham and David Calyn of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Jonathan Perry, Heather Menzies (Tom), Lucas Perry and Curtis Perry; and her siblings, Linda Reid (Randy) and Roy Erkila (Shirley). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Ruth was very generous - opening her door open to anyone who needed it, kind-hearted, donated to many charities and would spend time visiting those who were unwell.
