He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann Duchene (Robert), Suzanne Irvine (Sam) and Karen Forsythe (Nick Forwell); his grandchildren, Jocelyn LaMarsh, Lyndsay Grant, Amanda Grant and Samantha Irvine; and his siblings, Willy VanWijnen (Jane), Gys VanWynen (Marge) and Karel VanWynen (Barb).

Those considering a memorial donation are asked to consider St Joseph's Hospice in Sarnia.
