She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Beatty and Emma Beatty; her husband John; and her sister Phyllis Labadie. She is survived by: her children, John Tomecek (Steph Howes) of Chatham and Darrick Tomecek (Cyndi Dawson) of Chatham; and her siblings, Ernie Beatty (Anne) and Charlotte Stall.
