She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Ashby; her parents, Robert Taylor and Lola Taylor; and her sister Nancy. She is survived by: her daughters, April and Michelle; her grandchildren, Owen and Makenzi; her brothers, Robert Taylor (Janet), Richard Taylor (Carol) and Wayne Taylor (Shirley); and her sisters-in-law, Sandy Stead (Gary) and Betty Lindsay. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
