He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Brenda Jay (Wendel Kuni) and Gary Jay; his brother Clayton Jay; and his aunts and uncles, Anne Pare, Susan Murphy Hummer (Douglas), Kevin Murphy (Linda) and Daniel Murphy.
