He is survived by: his wife Carole; his son John Cernanec; his granddaughter Brianna Cernanec (Greg Simpson); his son Scott (Debbie Cernanec); his grandchildren, Jordan and Chloe Cernanec; his children, David Cernanec (Kelly Pritchard) and Melanie Cernanec-Richer (Dan Richer); his grandchildren, Edie Cernanec and Darko Richer; his stepdaughter Kelly Gorman; his grandchildren, Alex and Samantha Gorman; and his siblings, Steve Cernanec (Pat), Cecile Wortner (late George), Anne Manak and Mary Lutzer (Cliff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
