She was predeceased by: her former husband Joe Hoekstra; her brother Andy of Haan; and her grandson Joshua Michael Hoekstra. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Judi), Cynthia (Tim) and Tim (Charlene); her stepchildren, Ruth, Rick (Monica) and Henry (Sharon); her grandchildren, Joel (Rachel), Garett (Erica), Nicholas (MaryBeth), Janelle, Ethan, Jayden, Avery, Kyle (Krystin), Ryan (Coral), Sarah, Melissa (Chris), Brandon, Amanda, Cassie (Ron) and Shannon (Nave); and her great grandchildren, Hayley, Kailyn, Micah, Joseph, Evangeline, Malakai, Blake, Jeevan, Simran and Amrit.
