He was predeceased by: his parent John Ermers; his spouse Maria Anna Ermers (Morlog); his grandson Scott Owen; his siblings, Hank, Jacques, Garrod and Riek; and his sons-in-law, Paul Johnson and Eric Pinsonneault.
He is survived by: his parent Katja Ermers (Koenen); his children, Anne Johnson (Gary Chinnick) of Chatham, Kathleen Owen (James) of Chatham, Joan Tunks-Galbraith (Darrell) of Ridgetown, John Ermers (Bernie) of Wellend, Mario Ermers (Mary) of Sterling Heights, MI, Ed Ermers (Christy) of Ayr and Angela Pinsonneault of Chatham; and his siblings, Cor Ermers (Truus) of Blenheim, John, Piet, Willy and Rosa of Holland. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
