We announce the death of Wayne Edward Evans (Chatham, Ontario), who passed away on May 28, 2026, at the age of 79. Wayne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Evans and Bernice Evans (Montague); his mother-in-law Marie Dear (Kleuskens); and his siblings-in-law, Martina Desbiens, Renie Classens and Joe.
He is survived by: his close friend Nell (Petronella Classens); his daughter Lisa; his grandchildren, Mitchell and Juliana Loving; his siblings, Sandy Drouillard (Roger) and Diane Crawford Dear (Tom); his father-in-law Gerard; and his siblings-in-law, Casey VanDenDiepstraten (late Mary), Marty, Cathy Classens, Ann, Claude Paradis, Jerry Classens, Lynda Classens and Will Classens.
Donations can be made to the Recreation Department at Bobier Villa in honour of Wayne.
