She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Franssen; her parents, Maria Arends (Hagelaars) and Hermanus Arends; her son-in-law Todd Boughner; and her brothers, Arthur (Marten DeHaan) and Albert Arends (Gerrie) of The Netherlands.
She is survived by: her children, Herman Franssen (Terri), Anita Franssen and Nicole Franssen-Boughner (Wayne Tremblett); and her grandchildren, Robin Dumont (Ryatt), Clair Boughner (Kyle), Joseph Franssen, Martin Boughner, Brieanna Franssen, Lydia Boughner, Anderson Boughner and Peyton Dumont. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.
