He was predeceased by : his former life partner Ilene Edwards; his parents, Joseph Edwards and Margaret Edwards; and his siblings, Raymond, William Edwards and Betty Hall.

He is survived by : his wife Earline Edwards of Central Place; his children, Wayne Edwards (Brenda) of Markdale, Doug Edwards (Judy) of Chatsworth, Karen Beach of Annan, Kim Boyd (Randy) of Flesherton, Kelly Moore (Randy) of Wiarton and Kevin Fitzsimmons of Wiarton; and his sibling Whitney Edwards (Denise) of Markdale.
