With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Lafontaine in Chelmsford, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lafontaine and Gertrude Lafontaine; and his sisters, Constance Audette (Jean-Claude), Joanne Lafontaine, Suzanne Valois (Patrick) and Linda Prévost (Claude).

He is survived by: his wife Lucille Lafontaine; his children, Daniel Lafontaine (Colette) and Sylvie Boisvert (Christian); his grandchildren, Sébastian, Martin, Déric and Yanic Boisvert; and his siblings, Normand Lafontaine (Sandra) and Brenda Willett (Barry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
