He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Madeleine Simard and Maurice Simard; his spouse Claire Simard; his children, Alain Simard (Michelle Côté) and Angèle; his grandchildren, Cédric, André, Danika and Kaleb; and his siblings, Sylvie Beynen (Nick), Daniel Simard (Linda), Diane Montpellier (Claude), Yvan Simard (Barb) and Lyne Thibault (Roger). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
